Jon Andrew Kish

Jon Andrew Kish, 62, of Allegheny Township, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

A son of the late Paul J. Kish and Elizabeth I. (Mann) Kish, he was born December 11, 1963, in New Kensington, PA.

Jon was a loving husband of 39 years, a wonderful father to two sons, and an adventurous pappy with four granddaughters.  He was the rock of his family who could fix anything and would help anyone.  Camping trips with his wife, vacations with his family, and cooking for family get-togethers are just a few of the many things he loved to do.  He was loved by so many and will be missed very much!!

For 37 years, Jon had been employed as a mechanical engineer before retiring in 2024.  He was of the Catholic faith and member of the Slovak Society, Black Rifle Coffee Club, and YMCA of Allegheny Township where he played pickle ball. Jon enjoyed working in his garage, going to yard sales, camping and traveling, listening to music and podcasts, cars and racing (attending different racetracks), and especially spending time with his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Denise (Riggle) Kish of Allegheny Township; sons, Andrew R. Kish (Caitlin) of Saxonburg, Bradley K. Kish of Ford City; granddaughters, Sadie, Allison, Jessa, Charlotte Kish; stepbrother, Frank Ferney (Celeste) of Maryland; a nephew, Shawn Boylstein (Leanna) of Indiana; nieces, Melissa Boylstein Strain (Raymond), Bethanne Black (Jeff) of St. Louis, MO; and numerous great nephews and niece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Steven Paul Kish, Richard Paul Kish, Alan Lee Kish; stepbrother, Albert Ferney; sister, Paula Ann Beekman.

Friends will be welcomed by his family on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. until Noon at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051.  Private entombment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lower Burrell at a later date.
